oh Boy!

I know its still the middle of July but the weather is so bad lately I am completely into autumn allready and I doubt there is any going back! There are a few looks on my radar, trickling through from pervious seasons and a big look for 09 is the continuation of nudes tones and mens tailoring. As these trends have previously made an appearance it means you can rewear all your favourite garments, never a bad thing!! Inspired by a previous Vogue shot 'About a Boy' ive found a few garments which are definitly top of my eye candy list! Not a skirt or dress in sight.

Elizabeth and James Blazer £335

Vanessa Bruno Athé's tapered trousers £194.99

Topshop nude tapered trousers £30

Check boyfriend blazer £60

Grey 'mens shirt' Topshop £28

Kurt Geiger Black ankle boots £39 (reduced from £130)

Paper Dreams

Having just found out i passed my first year of university I was looking back through pictures and thought I would share with you the creations we made on our very first day. Having split us all into groups, with people we had never met we were each given a mannequin and a roll of paper and we set off to with instructions to 'create.' I have now met lots of lovely people and cant wait to start second year :) (sorry about the poor quality of the pictures, they were taken on my mobile which definitly needs updating!)

Dior Couture Show 09

Inspired by underwear as outwear the Dior show reinvents basques, girdles, lace-edged slips, and petticoats. The show left the runway and went back to the 1950's when collections were presented to clients at the Christian Dior headquarters. The silhouette featured nipped-in waists and volumous skirts, and has left me longing for a colour pop winter.

Daytime Denim

Since starting this blog I have been addicted to reading other blogs, there are so many amazing ones out there that they completley put mine to shame! It also makes me realise how much inspiration comes not just from the catwalk but from real, everyday people!

Having just got back from holiday I was at a loss on how to style my denim shorts without looking too casual so I went off in search of some inspiration and found these beautiful looks!

I love 1. the shoes 2. the scaloped jacket 3. her lovely locks

Rocking some vintage levis denims I think this look screams hippy chic!

All of these looks come from http://lookbook.nu/

Off-duty sale style!

I cant seem to get away from the sales. As of yet I havn't purchased anything from net-a-porter however I am constantly surfing the site looking for gorgeous pieces to add to my wish list! As the sale is still on I thought i would have a spy and see if anything has dropped into my budget and i wasn't disapointed! I think the sight is great for off duty style and you can find some really lovely pieces! Unfortunately anything of the balmain variety is out of my budget (boo)

Below Im loving - This See by Chloe top reduced from £50 to £35!

This shorts are absolutely ideal for the summer (if we ever get one) Sass and Bide which means they will definitly fit well are reduced from £140 to £98.

I also think these Alexander McQueen leggings are bang on trend and they are reduced from £75 to £52.50 (what a bargain)
