oh Boy!

I know its still the middle of July but the weather is so bad lately I am completely into autumn allready and I doubt there is any going back! There are a few looks on my radar, trickling through from pervious seasons and a big look for 09 is the continuation of nudes tones and mens tailoring. As these trends have previously made an appearance it means you can rewear all your favourite garments, never a bad thing!! Inspired by a previous Vogue shot 'About a Boy' ive found a few garments which are definitly top of my eye candy list! Not a skirt or dress in sight.

Sequins everywhere!

Ive recently gone off primark, prefering h&m, topshop and Zara however the autumn collection looks to shake this up. Ive just seen the lookbook for its Autumn 2009 collection, and there sure are some beauties to get excited about. Primark has everything from harem trousers to faux furs to sequinned parkas ready for you to snap up. But my favourites have to be the christian louboutin sude shoes and those serious, shoulder sequin dresses. It will definitly be interesting to see what these pieces are like in real life, they allmost look too good to be true in these pictures!

The American Apparel Dream.

I never really 'got' american apparel till just now. I keep seeing all the little adverts, with models clad in 'little' (what i would consider to be) leotards! Its definitly not a look i would go for but a little bit of me secretly envys how anyone could find the confidence to pull of such a look! Having firstly gotten over my shock, i remembered some girls from my class at uni shot an american apparel inspired photoshoot for a recent branding project and having relooked at the pictures they took I have realised that they are just completely spot on and scarily professional (considering my own inability to take photographs) ! Im sure they wont mind me posting these pictures as they are lovely girlies which you will see from the pics!!! A* for attitude!

Topshop calling

With Autumn just around the corner I am definitly excited for the coming season at topshop. Ive just been browsing on the website and the new images for the site are definitly getting me excited for whats to come. My favourites are the fur coats and the beautiful green one shoulder dress! I love it when gorgeous designs are actually in my price range!!!!

Shoe Lust

I am allready thinking about autumn, its one of my favourite seasons. So Ive been looking for some winter boots when I came across these beauties. Ive got complete shoe lust, they are so impratical but.... completely beautiful! Alexander Wang has been on my radar for a while and I definitly think it may be time to invest in him.

Dream a Little Dream

Today has been absolutely hectic! Ive been wanting to get my bedroom decorated for a while because when i moved back home for university i ended up back in the little box room. My brother moved into mine but ill forgive him because my mum said i could do whatever i wanted to the little room. The pictures above are the look I am going for! Ive been decorating all weekend and i even managaed to get a few hours of painting in this morning before work. When i got home from work i was so suprised as my mum and her boyfriend spent the 6 hours i was gone wallpapering and painting so my room is nearly finished, im so excited it looks great!! I'll post up some pics when ive got all of the accessories in but here is a sneaky peak at what beauties i found! I will definitly be having sweet dreams when its finished!

Paper Dreams

Having just found out i passed my first year of university I was looking back through pictures and thought I would share with you the creations we made on our very first day. Having split us all into groups, with people we had never met we were each given a mannequin and a roll of paper and we set off to with instructions to 'create.' I have now met lots of lovely people and cant wait to start second year :) (sorry about the poor quality of the pictures, they were taken on my mobile which definitly needs updating!)

I was scouring the internet and stumbled upon Willow, which is an up and coming australian fashion brand. It is both whimsical and feminine with a slight excentric look and I even hear its soon to be stocked on net-a-porter... surely this means a brand to watch out for?

Stella picks a picnic! yum!

For her resort collection Stella McCartney invited editors and fans out for a garden party at the West Village's Jefferson Market Garden. I love how designers are starting to be more creative in showing their collections!! It gives the show a much more personal theme and give the buyers and press a chance to get up close and personal with their favourite designs!
